Biographical Info

Dr. Matthew McCarty is the Director of Quality Assurance and Patient Safety in the Department of Emergency Medicine.  He is an Assitant Professor of °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ Emergency Medicine and is also an assistant attending physician at NewYork Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center and NYP-Lower Manhattan Hospital.

He earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine.  Dr. McCarty subsequently completed his residency training at NYU/Bellevue Departments of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. McCarty has been named a Future Leader in the High Value Practice Academic Alliance.
